Episode 2:
This podcast deals with pro-life activities including the current 40 Days for Life in New Orleans through Nov. 3, and also the March for Life event in Washington, D.C., in January 2020.

Host Christine Bordelon speaks with Sarah Zagorski, special projects director for Louisiana Right to Life, and NOLA Catholic Parenting blogger/columnist Kim Roberts about their involvement in pro-life issues.

:43: Since Washington, D.C., March for Life began, more than 16,000 babies have been saved worldwide.

1:00 Gaby tells us about more than 20 days filled already of people participating in a peaceful presence at the abortion clinic in Uptown New Orleans. It has a huge impact.

2:10 Sarah said the local vigil is from 7 a.m.-7 p.m. through Nov.

Churches can sign up for an hour or the whole hour at 2701 General Pershing St., New Orleans. Within three hours at this clinic, nine women went in, the day she went. Women who go in know that someone is there for them praying because of the peaceful presence.

3:40 Kim said being a mother is was her goal to tell her how precious life was. Her daughter went to the March for Life in Washington, D.C. and felt it was life changing. She felt she part of something bigger than herself during the D.C., She felt her voice was being heard as a youth. Her son went, too. Her youngest daughter went to the Baton Rouge Pro-Life event and Kim says she felt the presence of praying the rosary as this group prayed together for the unborn.

5:30 In Louisiana has several local events that coordinates with Washington, D.C. event. Sarah went to D.C. event with hundreds of thousands of people. “It’s a life-changing experience to realize. The media blocks out . College students put on an event called Go Forth - this year on Jan. 23, 2020.

March for Life in 2020 is Jan. 24 in Washington, D.C. “Everyone should go at least once to experience."
